Snowday!

Day 3~

Today it snowed ALL Day! When Cailin got up this morning, I told her to look out our window. She said, "OHHH YES, it's just, it's just EXACTLY!" She's so funny and SO dramatic! She couldn't wait to go out and play in it. She asked, "Is it cold like ice cream?" YES, it is!
She checked out her snow covered sandbox and frozen fishing pole. She dusted the snow off of her door to her playhouse and the little red bird feeder hanging there. Poor little snowbunny didn't last but about 5 minutes out there! It took me about 10 minutes to get her double panted, double gloved, socked, booted, coated, and taboganed. She came to the door and said, "Look at my pants!" There was snow all over them. Then, when I let her in, she said, "It's freezing out there!"

She didn't ask to go out for the rest of the day. Imagine that! So, I had a brainstorm of an idea to make an indoor snowman. We used all of the cottonballs in the house, but she made this super cute snowman.

We got a lot of these looks from the backdoor today. We tried to be nice and let him and his mama, Neah in. Warren put them in the garage, where it was warm (we had a space heater going). They had only been in for a few minutes, when Cailin reported that Hoss "had pootied" in the garage. This dog doesn't just pooty, he COW pooties (if you know what I mean). So he was swiftly escorted back outside in the snow. Poor Hoss!

I'm thinking of making an apple cobbler later and am wishing I had some hot apple cider to drink. Bye for now!
