Cavities Anyone?

We had a fun day yesterday. I took Cailin to the park and she played with some little boys that were there. One little boy looked at Cailin and said, "Boy, you sure are cute!" Uh, oh. He was 5 and too cute. Cailin just laughed at him. Then, we came home and made some sugar cookies. I had some left over frosting in the fridge so I let Cailin decorate them. Talk about a cavity waiting to happen! She sprinkled and sprinkled until they were covered with sugar.
Here's the outcome. I think she did a very good job! She was so precise about were she was putting every little sprinkle. She loved it!

I made Warren share them with his co-workers so they wouldn't all be sitting around here waiting to be eaten. I think I'll have to do this more often. Bye!

Potty Training and What Not

We have been potty training Cailin this week and she's been doing really good!

She started it herself Tuesday morning by just taking off her diaper and going potty after she woke up. So I ran and got her training panties. She put them on and did good most of the day.

We had a few accidents and by late afternoon she was tired of panties. She wanted her trusty old diapers back. I tried to be very positive all day, even when she had accidents. I'd tell her it's okay, you are trying, you are doing a good job.

There are a few things that I'm wondering:

Is she ever going to go poo? She hasn't went in 3 days! Should I be concerned? I think it's like a stage fright thing. I ask her if she needs to go poo and she just says no. I do that when I go out of town, too. Like I can't go in strange toilets. Strange!

Am I going to be giving her a candy treat every time she potty's? I mean, when she's 5. I'm totally kidding. She does ask for a candy treat sometimes at home after she potty's. (I started trying to get her to potty train several months ago by offering her this incentive.) Probably not the best method, but Hey, it did work a few times back then.

Yesterday, during one of our potty expeditions, she had just started going. She looked down and said excitedly, "Look, Mommy, it's working!" I cracked up laughing! She was totally serious. She's a funny girl!

This was our morning yesterday. Cailin and Kylie were watching Dora on the couch in there jammies. Cailin cracks me up in this pic because she's smiling for the picture, but she doesn't want to look away from the TV. She might miss Swiper the Fox. Ha!

Here is a pic of Miss Kylie from yesterday. We were outside watching Cailin blow bubbles. Kylie's hair cracks me up because well, it's just like mine. A blessing and a curse! Those wild little curls never stay down and it just goes wherever it wants to. She looks so serious in this pic, probably because she was wondering what the camera was doing in her face.
I better go for now! I have a ton of new pics to share, hopefully tommorrow. Bye!

Gynnn-nastics! Woohoo!

He didn't get it. He gave me funny looks. Who & why, you ask? Well, my husband and he thinks I take too many pictures. *rolling eyes* Hmmpf! You can never have too many pictures, especially of your kids. That little leotard and skirt got me going and I COULD NOT STOP. :-)
Yes, I followed her around the house like the papparrazi trying to get their money shot. I think it paid off though.
She had "gynnn-nastics" ~that's how she says it~ last night. She was so excited! She met me at my car when I got home from the gym and asked, "We go to gynnn-nastics?" I said, "Yep, let's go get ready." She jumped up and down, then said, "Woohoo!" Then, she asked Warren, "You going to gynnn-nastics, too?" She wants to make sure everyone is going.

Here's a pic of her doing a "bridge". The one below is of her class warming up. They stretch, then jump up and down.

This one is getting SO BIG lately! She weighs 13lbs and some change and just looks bigger to me. She laughs out loud a lot! Last night at gymnastics, she was laughing at the coach's daughter. She's about 8 or 9 and she was jumping on this trampoline right in front of us. Kylie was just cracking up while she watched her. So cute!

I haven't scrapped in a LONG time! I don't know why, just can never seem to find the time anymore. Could be 2 little ones instead of just 1, hmmm? Maybe that's it. Anyway, I did one for each of their books early this morning, and I do mean early. The TH in her name looks yellow, but it's a lime-green.

Well, I just deleted the one for Cailin's book. I'll add it tomm. for you to see, it was my favorite too, pooh! That's all I have for now. Bye!
