She started it herself Tuesday morning by just taking off her diaper and going potty after she woke up. So I ran and got her training panties. She put them on and did good most of the day.
We had a few accidents and by late afternoon she was tired of panties. She wanted her trusty old diapers back. I tried to be very positive all day, even when she had accidents. I'd tell her it's okay, you are trying, you are doing a good job.
There are a few things that I'm wondering:
Is she ever going to go poo? She hasn't went in 3 days! Should I be concerned? I think it's like a stage fright thing. I ask her if she needs to go poo and she just says no. I do that when I go out of town, too. Like I can't go in strange toilets. Strange!
Am I going to be giving her a candy treat every time she potty's? I mean, when she's 5. I'm totally kidding. She does ask for a candy treat sometimes at home after she potty's. (I started trying to get her to potty train several months ago by offering her this incentive.) Probably not the best method, but Hey, it did work a few times back then.
Yesterday, during one of our potty expeditions, she had just started going. She looked down and said excitedly, "Look, Mommy, it's working!" I cracked up laughing! She was totally serious. She's a funny girl!
This was our morning yesterday. Cailin and Kylie were watching Dora on the couch in there jammies. Cailin cracks me up in this pic because she's smiling for the picture, but she doesn't want to look away from the TV. She might miss Swiper the Fox. Ha!
